List of Private Game Reserves
I try to have a FGASA Level one diploma, because I want to be a trainee guide during my holiday.
I don't want to be paid; I speak English, French, Spanish and a little bit of Chinese; I have my First Aid Diploma... I thing it will be possible!
I try to find a list of the directors of the Private Game Reserve in South Africa with their e mails adresse, to contact them.
I search also on specialize websites ( www.lodgestaff.com...)

Prices of FGASA Training courses!
I contacted more than ten FGASA trainers, some are too expensive!
I think a lot of them are not for South Africans but for rich Europeans! 80€ by day...
Don't worry, the search continue and I will find some good ones!

Project for holidays.
I decided after my exams to study in a Field Guide Association of Southern Africa (FGASA, www.fgasa.org.za ) training course.
I want to obtain the Level One (NQF3) to become "a developing guide who can conduct a limited guided nature experience". With this diploma, I wonder to become a trainee in Private Game Reserve during two or three months to obtain some practical experience.
I don't choose yet which course I will follow.
I will join a list of the FGASA training providers.

MKHAYA ecovounteer
With others ecos, we help Mickey Reilly and his staff of the game reserve. We help in the reintroduction of sunis, in the capture of some white rhinos, in the building of road, of removing fences of new land, in patrolling with the rangers…
Mkhaya is a game reserve with two camps, one camp for the guests and one for the ecos and their guide. The eco camp is a tent camp and doesn’t have electricity.
But this project was the most exciting moment on my entire life! And I want to invite all to join this project.
Please contact me in you want more details.

Contact universities
With the director of the International Relation, Céline Blondeau, and a group of third year, we will contact the different universities, and negotiate with them.
We will contact the University of Pretoria (www.up.ac.za ), the university of Kwazulu Natal (www.ukzn.ac.za ), the university of Cape Town (www.uct.ac.za ), and the university of Port Elizabeth (www.upe.ac.za ).

Mweka
I would study in the college in wildlife management Mweka in Tanzania (www.mwekawildlife.org ).
Following the Arusha Manifesto in 1961, the College of African Wildlife Management was established in 1963 as a pioneer institution for the training of African wildlife managers. Since this time, the College has been a leader in providing quality wildlife management training in Africa, and has trained over 3,000 wildlife managers from 28 African countries and 18 non-African countries. The majority of the College's students come from the SADC region, although the College opens its doors to all students with an interest in African Wildlife Management.
The course is in 3 years. And with this diploma, it is possible to work in the management of a park or in a wildlife association.
I have time to think about Mweka. I am in second year of a degree in Management!
Before Mweka, I need to finish my Master in Management, because I could need an exit door one day…

Why will I study in South Afica?
But there is no exchange between my university FLSE (www.icl-lille.fr, www.icl-lille.fr/eco) and a South African university.
South Africa has some of the best universities in Africa.
And also, it would allow me to visit game reserves and to make me contacts in these parks.
